Now as earlier explained in our “Essential App issues and Fixings” and “Quick Fixing Guide” that shows steps for the camera, wifi, Bluetooth, etc. You should note that not all issues on your Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra require flashing. We strongly advise that for phones still under warrantee the users should first locate the nearest service center for them to troubleshoot, fix or replace and the case may be. But if you have tried that already and it failed then, you should probably opt-in for formatting in this case I will show you how to use Android Flash Tool to format your Mi 11 Ultra.
Easy Steps on how to flash Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Back to Its Factory State:
Step 1: You will need to download Mi Flash Tool to be able to flash Xiaomi devices, you can get it here.
Step 2: After downloading the flash tool make sure you extract it to a location you can easily get access to and then you need to download the stock ROM of the device you want to flash, you can get it here.
Step 3: You need to run the Flash Tool, double click on it to start the Mi Flash Tool, if you come across any issues while doing this, you need to run the Flash Tool as administrator.
Step 4: After doing that and the Flash tool opens and you get any prompt to install drivers or drivers are not available, you will need to create an empty folder call “log” in the same file where the Mi Flash Tool is located, and now reopen or run the Flash Tool again.
Step 5: After making sure everything is running fine now, you need to click on “Select” and navigate to where the flash ROM is and select the folder.
Step 6: Now you need to turn off the device, in the process of flashing you might be asked for permission, if you are asked that, you will need to meet your phone customer service.
Step 7: If you are not asked for any permission, then you will need to boot the device into factory mode by press holding power button and volume down button at the same time.
Step 8: You need to connect the device to your PC with a USB cable preferable an original USB cable.
Step 9: You will see “Refresh” click on it and then you will see a device ID appear in the list below the flash tool.
Step 10: Now at the bottom of the flash tool you will see “clean all” select it, but by default, this will be set to “clean all and lock”, then tap on “Flash”.
Step 11: After the flashing process is done, your phone will be rebooted and you will be taken to the familiar Android login screen and then it will be safe to disconnect the device.
Just before you follow the tips below to upgrade or downgrade your XIAOMI MI 11 ULTRA. Do a backup of your personal data:
- Do a manual backup regularly of your Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra following our guide with data or Wi-Fi connection.
